The LEKA Orangery Roof is
built around a structurally
tested GRP ladder kit
system with integrated
structural upstand designed
specifically to support a
glass lantern. The lantern
is constructed onsite to
maximise natural light
while maintaining structural
integrity and thermal
performance.
Lightweight Modular Build
Up to 40% lighter than
traditional orangery
roof builds, the factory
assembled GRP ladder
kits remove the need
for aluminium or timber
components. The
modular design simplifies
installation, reduces
structural load and allows
the system to be fitted in
days.
Thermal Performance
High-grade PIR insulation
delivers U-values as low
as 0.10 W/m²K, exceeding
current Building Regulation
requirements. A 15mm air
gap creates an effective
thermal barrier, providing
solid insulated roof
performance comparable
to a traditional house build.
Compliance & Protection
Pre-approved through MFA
Building Control, the system
is fully Building Regulation
compliant with completion
certification available. The
build incorporates loadbearing insulated external
boards with EPDM or
fibreglass outer finish and is
backed by a 40 year LEKA
component warranty.
